Online psychological counseling

As a medical practitioner, my work as an internist, a haematologist and a psychotherapist for more than 35 years has been driven by my interest in how people can improve their quality of life. Many of us feel overburdened by the stress and difficulties of daily life, which can result in many problems, both physical and psychological. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) has proven to be an effective means for treating many common ailments, such as depression, anxiety disorders (panic disorder, phobias, obsessive-compulsive disorder), eating disorders and interpersonal difficulties.

CBT is a proven and well-supported therapy, requiring a well-functioning and motivated cooperation between the doctor and patient. This technique aims to equip people with the self-supporting ability and tools to cope with, and ultimately solve his/her problems. CBT is a therapeutic process that requires the establishment and nurturing of a strong, well-functioning and mutually respectful therapeutic relationship. Although, CBT can address immediate medical issues, such as panic disorder, phobias, obsessive behavior and devitalizing depression, the therapy is most effective because it strengthens and equips patients to better cope with stress, anxiety, and other modern-day pressures in order to live a healthy and more enjoyable life.

As a private medical practice, we place a strong emphasis on building a close relationship with every patient in order to ensure the highest quality of medical care. We offer our patients both personal, face-to-face sessions as well as online-delivered therapy in Hungarian, specialized in adults. By providing trusted, personalized and goal-oriented counseling both in person and online, we aim to make ourselves available to individuals leading busy and often demanding lives. Easily accessible and trustworthy counseling is more important than ever in helping to maintain our mental fitness and equilibrium.
